En plein c\u0153ur des confinements li\u00e9s \u00e0 la COVID-19, cette plateforme est n\u00e9e d\u2019un besoin : devant l\u2019impossibilit\u00e9 d\u2019organiser des rassemblements, les comit\u00e9s organisateurs des colloques de la SQET et de l\u2019ACRT ont rapidement con\u00e7u un espace de rencontre virtuel. Ce qui n\u2019\u00e9tait alors qu\u2019une solution temporaire pour se r\u00e9unir, en attendant de pouvoir se retrouver en personne, s\u2019est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 riche de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s pour les \u00e9tudes th\u00e9\u00e2trales. Au fil de l\u2019\u00e9laboration du site, les membres des deux organisations se sont interrog\u00e9\u00b7es sur ses autres possibilit\u00e9s : pourrait-il devenir un rep\u00e8re num\u00e9rique stable, \u00e0 m\u00eame de faciliter des assembl\u00e9es plus polyvalentes, accessibles, durables et peut-\u00eatre plus justes?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Des repr\u00e9sentant\u00b7es de la SQET et de l\u2019ACRT ont form\u00e9 un comit\u00e9 dont les r\u00e9unions, r\u00e9guli\u00e8res, portaient non seulement sur la planification des colloques, mais aussi sur des questions plus vastes li\u00e9es au partage des connaissances dans un contexte de divisions linguistiques, g\u00e9ographiques, culturelles et \u00e9conomiques. Nous avons consult\u00e9 des traducteur\u00b7trices, des interpr\u00e8tes en langue des signes, des designers et des d\u00e9veloppeur\u00b7euses Web, de m\u00eame que des consultant\u00b7es en organisation et des sp\u00e9cialistes de l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 afin d\u2019\u00e9laborer des approches justes et \u00e9quitables de l\u2019assembl\u00e9e.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Les travaux r\u00e9unis ici s\u2019inscrivent dans la poursuite de ces d\u00e9marches. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une subvention du programme Pulsion num\u00e9rique Volet 2 du Conseil des arts du Canada, obtenue par Katrina Dunn et Nicole Nolette, nous avons soutenu quatre chantiers r\u00e9flexifs. Notre appel \u00e0 contributions, diffus\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019hiver dernier, invitait les chercheur\u00b7euses, artistes et travailleur\u00b7euses culturel\u00b7les \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir aux \u00ab doctes assembl\u00e9es \u00bb, entendues au sens large comme des rencontres entre des \u00eatres humains, non humains ou inanim\u00e9s. Je suis ravie d\u2019en partager les r\u00e9sultats, qui incarnent l\u2019engagement de TheatreAgora.ca \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des ponts entre les langues, les m\u00e9diums et les points de vue.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Dans <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/theatreagora.ca\/jane-doe-counter-memory-against-the-silence\/\">Jane Doe: Counter Memory Against the Silence<\/a><\/strong>, Sorouja Moll tourne son regard vers les femmes dont les noms sont absents des r\u00e9cits historiques officiels. Dans son installation multim\u00e9dia, une astronaute \u00e9merge du lac Ontario, prend le TTC et parcourt les rues de Toronto. Des passants\u00b7es la regardent avec curiosit\u00e9, tandis que d\u2019autres \u00e9vitent soigneusement tout contact visuel. L\u2019astronaute est pr\u00e9sente, mais reste insondable \u2013 et porte d\u2019ailleurs un nom, prononc\u00e9 par la voix hors champ de Moll, qui \u00ab [&#8230;] a \u00e9chapp\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019attraction gravitationnelle d\u2019une lune \u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Avec <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/theatreagora.ca\/zenos-paradox-an-empathy-experiment-for-ip-peace-equity\/\">Zeno\u2019s Paradox: A Docu-Animation Film on the Israel-Palestine Conflict<\/a><\/strong>, <em>Danny Atari et Daniella Vinitski Mooney offrent quant \u00e0 eux\u00b7elles un aper\u00e7u d\u2019une rencontre qu\u2019il\u00b7elles ont organis\u00e9e entre des Palestinien\u00b7nes canadien\u00b7nes, des Isra\u00e9lien\u00b7nes, des Juif\u00b7ves et des Musulman\u00b7es. Entre des extraits vid\u00e9o, on retrouve des animations d&#8217;Atari et une lecture multilingue du po\u00e8me \u00ab Rita et le fusil \u00bb de Mahmoud Darwish, r\u00e9cit\u00e9 en arabe, en h\u00e9breu et en anglais par une voix hors champ. Celui qui porte les mots de Darwish d\u00e9couvre un fusil, braqu\u00e9 entre sa bien-aim\u00e9e et lui. Atari et Vinitski Mooney cr\u00e9ent ainsi un autre \u00ab tiers espace \u00bb et s\u2019interrogent : quelles formes de relations sont possibles au milieu de cycles de violences catastrophiques?<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/theatreagora.ca\/seaside-notes-from-the-rock-waltz-etude\/\">Seaside notes from the Rock waltz \u00e9tude<\/a><\/strong> est ensuite l\u2019occasion pour Christine Mazumdar de mettre en sc\u00e8ne des rencontres lyriques avec le monde naturel. Cette \u0153uvre est tir\u00e9e de Seaside Words for the Disappearing Girl, un recueil de po\u00e9sie que l\u2019artiste a \u00e9crit confin\u00e9e, alors qu\u2019elle devait prendre soin de sa m\u00e8re au plus fort de la crise sanitaire. Mazumdar danse sur un rivage rocheux, \u00ab water touchant [s]es feet \u00bb, entre absence et pr\u00e9sence, m\u00e9moire et perte.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>L\u2019eau appara\u00eet \u00e9galement comme source d\u2019alliances et de sens dans \u00ab <a href=\"https:\/\/theatreagora.ca\/fleuve-et-eaux\/\"><strong>Et si aujourd\u2019hui j\u2019avais le pouvoir d\u2019un fleuve de mots : imaginaires, structures et influences du fleuve et de l\u2019eau dans la dramaturgie qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise<\/strong> <\/a>\u00bb. Dans cet essai, Lorie Ganley, Pierre-Olivier Gaumond, Enzo Giacomazzi et Nicole Nolette t\u00e9moignent d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e9nement ax\u00e9 sur la dramaturgie contemporaine qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise qu\u2019il\u00b7elles ont organis\u00e9 en tant que codirecteur\u00b7trices de l\u2019axe Th\u00e9orie et critique de la SQET. En r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissant depuis les \u0153uvres de R\u00e9becca D\u00e9raspe, Marianne Dansereau et Dave Jenniss, il\u00b7elles retracent les remous et mar\u00e9es du fleuve Saint-Laurent. Ganley et ses coauteur\u00b7trices honorent la centralit\u00e9 du fleuve dans l\u2019identit\u00e9 qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise tout en reconnaissant les \u00ab d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibres et in\u00e9galit\u00e9s \u00bb qu\u2019il entra\u00eene avec lui. Dans une volont\u00e9 de proposer plusieurs chantiers de r\u00e9flexion ouverts sur les formes et les motifs de la dramaturgie qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise, le premier s\u2019est concentr\u00e9 autour du motif du fleuve et des eaux dans les textes dramatiques qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois.&nbsp;Le 18 avril 2024, une conf\u00e9rence-discussion eut lieu au Centre des auteurs dramatiques (CEAD) \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, o\u00f9 les chercheur\u00b7euses purent r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir et \u00e9changer avec trois auteur\u00b7trices qui manifestent un imaginaire du fleuve Saint-Laurent dans leurs pratiques d\u2019\u00e9criture, soit R\u00e9becca D\u00e9raspe (<em>Les filles du Saint-Laurent, Les glaces<\/em>), Marianne Dansereau (<em>D\u00e9sormais je menstruerai drette dans le fleuve<\/em>) et Dave Jenniss (<em>Nmihtaqs Sqotewamqol \/ La cendre de ses os<\/em>). The battle between remembering and forgetting is located in the discursive anonymity of \u201cJane Doe,\u201d a bureaucratic pseudonym which is often entrenched in violence, fear, and shame, and thus individual stories are disavowed and rendered insignificant. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we lived in isolation in an effort to protect my mother\u2019s immune system.
